Marketing & Business Development Vacancy

We are looking for an energetic and confident person to join our small team and help grow our design business. In this role, you will be working with a wide range of companies as they invest for growth. You will be able to identify some of the challenges facing potential clients and find ways for Fruition to engage constructively in presenting potential design solutions.

This a permanent part-time position starting with a minimum of 12 hours a week with the intention to grow to 24 hours a week or more.

Knowledge of the design sector is useful but not essential, but an interest in the creative industries is important. You will have the full support of the in-house design and social media team(Chris and Andy) in the production and distribution of marketing collateral.

The role has 2 main objectives:

Business Development

Create opportunities for the Director & Design Associates to meet with potential new clients.

Define long-term organisational strategic goals and build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities.

Maintain a knowledge of current and future market conditions and trends.

Support management team to promote, seek and actively engage new clients through networking, PR and social media.

Plan persuasive approaches to gain new business.

Investigate trade press and other media for potential new business.

Promotion

To promote and market Fruition to new and existing clients.

Market Fruition by developing and implementing a marketing strategy, in conjunction with the Fruition team.

Prepare and distribute PR & Marketing messages and material for projects throughout the design and implementation.

Liaise with clients and gain approval for marketing content, gain testimonials and identify joint promotional opportunities.

Interior & Graphic Design
Design & fit out of shops, bars and restaurants for the retail, leisure and business.

Digital & Web
Design and build of websites, apps and e-commerce

Branding & Print
Creation of brand identities, marketing material and graphic design

Social Media Management
Provide support and management to be more efficient and effective on of social media

Digital Signage
Design & Installation of large format multi media digital signage and marketing solutions

Ideal Attributes

We are looking for someone who wants to commit to building a role within our company. Hours are flexible within the working week Monday to Friday 8.30 – 18.00

We are a small and friendly team with the excellent working environment on the Harbourside in Torquay.

We are not looking for an agency to fulfil this role.

Salary

Pay is negotiable and can be PAYE or freelance.

After 6 months all employees (including freelance) are eligible for performance-related pay rises.
