In September 2007 the English Riviera received international recognition for its rich geological, historical and cultural heritage, it doing so it become one of just 57 areas around the world to be endorsed by UNESCO and welcomed into both the European and Global Geopark Networks.
UNESCO Global Geoparks are single, unified geographical areas where sites and landscapes of international geological significance are managed with a holistic concept of protection, education and sustainable development.

UNESCO Global Geopark in Torbay
We were recently contacted by the English Riviera’s branch of the UNESCO Global Geopark and were briefed on the design of six new interpretation boards set to be positioned along the Torbay part of the South West Coast Path.
The design process was a smooth one. Despite having a tight deadline we were able to design the artwork and send it off for production in less than two working weeks. We were informed of two of the boards locations and recently went to snap a couple of pictures.
The ones shown on this page were photographed near Meadfoot Beach Cafe and on Ilsham Marine Drive in Torquay.
